Each year the Williams Syndrome Association of Ireland organises a weekend outing for it's member families. This event is subsidised by the WSAI and is held in a hotel somewhere in Ireland. The weekend is an informal event to allow families to get together, exchange experiences and gain information and support from one another. As we are a national association, we try to select a new venue each year so that the same families will not have to do all the travelling each year. Some of the locations we have chosen so far include Cork, Killarney, Wexford, Galway, Westport and Limerick. For further details please contact the WSAI. We would like to encourage as many member families as possible to take part in this outing. It is a most enjoyable weekend as well as being an invaluable source of information on WS. After all, who knows WS better than the families that live with it every day! |
